Hello family!
Today was a wonderful day! We were invited to attend the baby blessing of Mel Preito in Sorocaba. Papa baptized Mel's grandmother (Victoria) when he served in Brazil as a missionary from 1969 - 1971! Special experience for Papa to get to participate in the blessing! Darling little girl....almost as cute as our grandkids!
Thursday this past week we drove to Praia Grande to purchase supplies for our garden project there. That evening, the "seniors" got together for a genuine Thanksgiving Dinner, games, and football watching. Definitely over ate, but so worth it!!
Friday, Papa and Elder Salisbury drove to Riberone Pires with all the Pickleball equipment to introduce the game to APRAESPI PE teachers. They had a ball playing and the school will love teaching the game to their students.
I stayed home to get some things done at the office. Sister Moore and I went shopping in the afternoon and got supplies to paint a picture!! That evening we found a new restaurant to try.
Saturday, we did some shopping and drove out to Liberdade to a street market in the Japanese area! Had a ball looking and buying a few things! Even found a sewing machine that looked like a stapler...and it really worked...what a deal for $5!!! No, I didn't buy it, but I wanted to! Found a great Japanese restaurant for dinner.
Hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving! We are THANKFUL for our family! Brazil is a great place to be if we can't be with family!
"Good judgement comes from experience and a lot of that comes from bad judgement!"
Hugs and kisses to all!
Love, Papa and Gma
